A goßartiges work of a great artist

Ben Harper geligt something on this live album, which one can with a studio album not succeed: He turns directly to the audience and ties it with his voice, and the tension of this intimacy is close enough to touch. Apart from this there are the lyrics and melodies of his (own) songs that put the audience again and again in amazement, a wünderschöne melody wrestles with a heartbreaking text of which no one wins, this but in a dreamlike harmonize without implausible or cheesy to act. With his first live album you realize that Ben Harper is a true artist "on the Road" and one can only hope that it is not really the oppressed what he told him in his lyrics. Ben harper forever!
