A music machine before the horned

The opinions on the last AC / DC album "Black Ice" have partially being too far apart; many it cheered downright up, some appeared rather disappointed, some applied with horror from. I appreciate, however, if one's raving about AC / DC, it will be with "Black Ice" certainly not really disappointed, the album AC / DC Pure as they were known since time immemorial. There are only the really big moments.

But that's no reason, "Black Ice" to condemn and freeze again for me. From AC / DC really no one should have any innovation, alternations or grand experiments expect - but that's what makes this band also: AC / DC are unmistakable, they have their own rock and roll style established at the top of the world. When you hear an AC / DC song, one recognizes it immediately as such. The "rock n'roll Train" and his wagons are on this track, even if the number may now be a high-flyer. That AC / DC here are at work, you immediately recognize, and that the album in some places rather average is down, with me personally less important. A specific, but very high level is simply not undershot. What do you get when the original copy with the original? That's right, the original.

Although I would like to say that I'm aware some generously interpret the term "original". AC / DC are not the inventors of reef rock, but who at the time served generously in rock and roll musicians like Chuck Berry. They, however, never made even a special union bones about it. AC / DC is due the merit of having then heaved the rock n'roll in this sense to the next, harder level. But back to "Black Ice".

After the last very bluesy 2000 album "Stiff Upper Lip" AC / DC go back a little in the 80s, through the album "Black Ice" is a comparison to seem "Back In Black" impose want to, and in fact reminds me the whole thing is actually a little (just a little) to the first album with Brian Johnson. But off it, certain oddities in AC / DC universe, such as "Anything Goes", the AC / DC equivalent of a pop-rock song, with "rock and roll legend," something of an AC / DC-power ballad, and - using a slide-guitar playing - with "Stormy May Day" a number that sounds pretty after AC / DC-meets-Rose Tattoo. At some point, a few riffs of Bryan Adams have crept, and "She Needs rock n'roll" leans in the chorus quite strong deselben the Mötley Crüe song name on. Nevertheless, "Black Ice" a solid, good AC / DC album, in whom I am much stronger found only after some time favor. Songs like "Rock'n'Roll Train", the jaunty "Big Jack", the vicious and mean-rocking "War Machine", the stomping "Money Made", the cool, straighte "Rocking All The Way" and the impetuous theme song, sit down quickly fixed in the ear canals.

No idea why, but when AC / DC play, the heart goes on with me. Maybe because I was his life accompanied by her music. Finally, it does but also good to know that there are in this world something that is so constant and good inventory. AC / DC have always remained true to themselves and have proved this again with "Black Ice". I for one think it's great that AC / DC have thus shown again, and would be delighted, there should be a few more followers.
