The Synology should simply serve only as a substitute for a number of years now old Acer Aspire Easystore. So far I had just considerable reluctance to spend so much money on a little NAS. After about a month in operation now, I think I'd sooner to change ... Although one certainly needs to make the performance a little compromise, as the 2.5-inch disks may be slightly slower than the large (must not be mandatory, but there came for me anyway the miser reappear). All in all, I recommend this device only.
