Like many other speakers, I can confirm the following: 1. The sound and the workmanship are really fully in order. BUT: On the web advertising realm, this player has too many teething problems. I would like to say briefly anticipate that my Neztwerk consists of very good, current components and all devices have the latest Firm Had.
I have used the device wired. My problems with this unit were:
1. when I hear Internet radio and the Twonky server is started on the PC (just booted, but is not used) hears the Streamer instantly play on radio.
2. gapless possible only if you start the music with the push buttons on the unit or the Denon Remote - but not in control over the iPhone. In this respect, no real gapless!
3. When Wech donkey between DLNA / Internet Radio on AirPlay and back via the iPhone app of the streamer on AirPlay hangs - it only helps to restart the Denon 720th
4. The Denon app for Android does not work! Also not required with a static IP address as the app. Neither with the Galaxy Tab 10.1N still in the Samsung S2 (9100).
DENON should be ashamed to offer the expectant customer something really!
Incidentally, I have found that you can control the Denon means the bubble UPnP server for Andorid zumnindestens eingeschhränkt.
My Conclusion:
visual and melodious a successful device. What has, however, yet installed an AM and FM tuner with 15 000 radio stations, I can not understand. The Networking Using Control with the buttons on the unit or the included remote control is ok. Control via smartphone ok only for Apple devices; useless for Android users!
Since the device is on the market already since 2011. I do not believe that DENON still can improve something or is. I'm waiting for the successor model. The integration of Spotify would be highly desirable.
