A nondescript-looking RPG / tactics treasure!

I admit, I'm watching the game for over a year! As a huge fan of the original KingŽs Bounty and Heroes of the MM series a title was finally announced, the explore the principle map, leveling character and turn-based combat took up. Of this there are in contrast to the consoles (Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, ...) on the PC, unfortunately, very little games that include this principle.

Since I could no longer wait for the German release, I bought the download version of the game in the United States (Atari HP) and play it incessantly since.
A little skeptical about the many positive reviews of the magazines, I must admit that it is a detail unconverted absolutely professionally, but with love titles, which represents more than worthy of the title above this genre.
The addictive is weider enormously, even though the game but clearly differs from the HOMM series.
Here are the facts at a glance
- Only 1 playable hero (warrior, mage or paladin)
- 4 levels of difficulty (easy, med, hard, impossible)
- Real-time on the world map; very successfully implemented (Space pauses the game) with day and night hours, have an impact on the fighting
- Action-RPG excessive levels of chars with different skill trees, like Diablo.
- Items, passive and "active", ie they are provided with residents who müssemn be defeated only to full use (nice touch!)
Get possibility of marriage and children, which give bonuses (depending wife ;-)) -
- Boss Monster that require enormous tactics
- Plenty of removable spells in different paths.
- Diverse selection of recruitable units that each have special abilities
- Detailed, nicely animated but quite colorful game world
- In some cases very demanding tactics struggles with interactive battlefields, eg castle sieges
- Many quests, some of very nice stories besides the main quest
- Individual design of the characters!

Overall, an absolutely successful title I can unreservedly recommend, especially those who like to play tactics and RPG games.

Disadvantage: no multiplayer and no skirmish maps
