A one-sided but unfortunately required review

This camera is written As in many other reviews the direct competition to the Sony RX 100 models. Both cameras are at a very high technical level and form the spearheads in its segment. In the first direct comparison to the RX 100 (Mark I) I noticed the warmer colors and less sharp images on acting especially at full aperture and full wide-angle.

But there is a crucial point, which leads me to an extreme devaluation. You buy a camera so essentially to make the go-quality images. What good is it but when the camera has no more juice. And so we come to the point, the pricing policy for the replacement batteries urgently required.

80 for a single not very powerful battery definitely go at all. Replacement batteries, there are no market due to technical restrictions, the Canon has built. Since Canon has obviously learned a lot from its printer division, where there at least the printers are sold to low and will only be cashed in the ink. Here you have optimized the principle, expensive camera and much more expensive replacement batteries.

In the past two spare batteries were on holiday trips often required in this case, that would mean 160 to pay for it. Sorry, but that's not at all, especially in light of the real production costs, so I'll probably stay with my Sony, even if the larger zoom range is very charming.
