"My life, my ex and other calamities" is the first novel by Marie Vareille, passionate French blogger chick lit, better known under the pseudonym Sissi de Beauregard. I read this experiment story on my cell phone and lai followed very easily. I found the cool characters, the plot caught my attention after Completion. I especially liked the humor of the author, his ability to make me share his love of gastronomy, to make real the dream trip to the Maldives with a rich and colorful vocabulary.
The French authors of chick lit are still few, the kind being currently dominated by Anglo-Saxon authors. Marie Vareille noted with enthusiasm and determination the challenge describe a romantic comedy "French" and that is with pleasure that I read his next novel!
