Amateur photographer for twenty years, I went digital there ten years with an Eos 350D APS-C sensor. My choice fell on the 6D for 3 reasons: 1- its sensor full format for better working depth of field. Not to mention the viewfinder where it seems to move from TV to the movies. 2- processing capacity of low light and high ISO. Impressive to see the smoothness of images taken up to ISO 6400! On this point, the 6D is now the best. Finally 3- autofocus, highly efficient and sensitive even in low light. Only one cross-type sensor in the center? A pro told me it's always with that one (whatever the case) that shootait its action scenes, even then rework its composition A flat on the price anyway, where one feels a marketing positioning a technological justification. But when you love ... I highly recommend this unit to any avid connoisseur.
