A real reliability problem ...

Having enough collectible USB 1.2 and 4GB, I finally decided to invest in a high key and 32GB mark. And even put in a 30 key, so think ahead and take a USB 3.0 model. The command was successful, amazon is impeccable as usual on this side there.

As for its use, I used exclusively to carry movies my desktop PC on my home player (WD TV). Knowing that HD movie you look is on a small USB key is a little surprising the first time. Until then, I had to move a 3.5 external HDD for HD movies, to tell you how this key me life easier.

Regarding rates, I have not been able to verify those playing with my use, but for those in writing they are good. On the bigger file (> 20GB), the flow rate was close to 30 MB / s. For smaller chain (~ 200 MB), it fell more around 10-15 MB / s.

So far, the key would have deserved 5 star rating. But now, after a month and three days of use, it is the drama: the key is not recognized at all on any of my devices. I want to clarify that the key has been NO shock and she had to return the PC / Lounge ten times maximum. This is the first time in my life as a USB stick makes my soul. The period for return on amazon has passed and the service of the manufacturer does not respond to my emails.

The situation is all the more alarming than reading amazon reviews of this model 32GB and 16GB version, opinions are either very good (4 and 5 stars) citing the various arguments of the first part of my review or then very bad (1 star). Of the 9 that already have one star, 8 tell the same mishap as me with their keys that fail overnight after weeks or months of use. 8 comments of 37 evaluations, making nearly a key 5 is not reliable! It's huge and it's totally incomprehensible amazon and Corsair still sell such a product. A real disappointment!

You are therefore warned: By purchasing this USB stick, you will receive a product that possibly could be excellent but with 1 in 5 chance of ending up with a good piece of plastic to the trash. To reserve for the burnt heads.
