Ramez Naam in this book addresses a current topic in science fiction, hazards to human Letre progress of science. We follow Kade, a young scientist kneaded with good intentions. Questioning and doubts the young man echo our own doubts. Should we be afraid of what changes the evolution of our nature? Should we trust the man when placed at his disposal a technology that can be used both for good and for evil? Who has the right to decide what should be allowed or not? Governments? Scientists? Nobody?
