Silvia Avallone universe is that obscure, of damaged life, the marginalized and the failures of all kinds. They have their own panache, their sublime derision, or repressed their foolish dreams and are the conscious or unconscious victims dune society they do not know, or more, or that they sinsérer awkwardly trying to fight their way in a war a little davance vain and lost.
After watching the dreary lives of young Italian adults in "Ironside" Silvia Avallone here explores their men's doubles.
Piero is this typical anti-hero of the young novelist. At thirty-nine, he experienced na quune life little typing. Alternately pickpocket, robber or car thief, he spends his time in and out of jail as Dhôtel change without ever really falling. Macho in the soul, it multiplies the conquests as reasons to make him forget an aged wife, slumped and resigned, who spends his time lattendre doing cross-stitch.
Where it stops, excited like a chip on lar of a roadhouse unlikely, it is determined to rob a cashier ageless immediately frightened by its looks and manly threat that it gives off. Believing himself alone, he decides to move to the toilet before committing his crime. His surprise is total WHEN IT comes across an eighteen year old, installed in the urinals as sil seemed to expect the good Samaritan that would lead him to where he wants.
For Piero, this is a moment of unexpected grace. He who lives like a lynx on a free, choosing his prey instinct, jumping of a package to another, he who swears by the easy girls receives as a divine revelation. Behind the teenager covered with piercings hides an irresistible Apollo, the blond and fair-skinned like a girl, dune disarming freshness. Here it is facing both great son that he has never been perfect and the lover whom he has never thought of.
In lembarquant in his red Alfa Romeo, fly, of course, he does not yet know that he will give a new direction to his life, that he is going to shake the foundations and beliefs, that of a lynx agile it will turn into a dull animal Zoo.
With amazing density, Silvia Avallone manages to give this short story a force and impact that call respect and admiration.
