Good news! After February rather average historical romance level begins March dune much better way. This series of Sabrina Jeffries, this is really a roller coaster! Jai-loved on the first book, An American in London. The second volume, LAventurier, was in my opinion a tone or two, below. This third volume meanwhile was as delicious as the first. Jy have found everything jaime.
After Oliver and Jarret, it was time to meet one of the female members of Halstead Hall Hussars. And what a female member! He comes to Minerva, dOliver sister and therefore Jarret, who passion for writing and even publishing gothic novels in several episodes. What has the gift of making his family pounce. Especially when she took the inspiration for his characters the members of his entourage What exasperates the utmost Giles, lawyer and best friend of his brethren and who knows very well that the most vile and debauched his characters is not like all inspired by Ollie the world believes him but himself. A history of 10 years to grudge
You can well imagine, Minerva na no desire to get married and lose its independence. It is for her, out of the question to bend to the will of his grandmother. She is counting on his brothers to help him even if she has a little handle: she's sure, to a classified ad, under his name, saying what a husband seeking and proposing a "casting" day to find it they will be angry and be heard at their grandmother. Indeed, they are furious but what nobody expected navait, this is Giles pass between the cracks is considered a friend of the boys and propose to Minerva marry him!
Finally this is totally perfect. Giles needs to BE married his career and Minerva is sure, his brothers and his grandmother will never let this happen: Giles is reputed to be the worst libertines, brothers know very, too well and her grandmother always considered a depraved. Yes but now, Giles, he does not laugh and is determined to marry him, so he convinces Hetty granny let him. Dazed Minerva (and brothers) not sattendaient that! What does not sattendait Min, this is the secret that hides Giles and what endangers with his novels
What a pure pleasure that this third book I read dune deals! The characters are really engaging, colorful, packed with humor and character traits that are their own, they have that something extra that makes successful novels. Humor is present from beginning to end, as I love him, helped by the presence of all the siblings (that javais found a little lacking in the previous one). I found the plot so much more interesting than the previous volume, I'm not bored for a second. Another strong point, Minerva passion for writing and suddenly overactive imagination that follows, a real treat.
And then there was also the plot, the Giles secrets that add a little suspense side that I adore. Especially that I asked myself many questions about what it really was, i assumed many things before quon is the story late password. A little mystery more than welcome in this kind of novel. In short, that's very good!
Now strongly later, hoping that the roller coaster sarrĂȘtent and lon remains stuck in the top of the top!
