But I swallowed up in this book to the great and original story, full of meaning, critical, and funny. Saramago escapes anything that crosses its path !!! It has humor, he's smart, observant; he plays and we enjoy! Death goes on strike, but after the coming period d`euphorie problems .... Because without it, it is the insured bankruptcy: insurance, funeral, crowded hospitals and retirement homes ... etc .. Through a logical narrative, but coherent picaresque, and colorful, this is our relationship to life and death that is scanned! Moreover, Saramago uses little punctuation, avoids commas, dashes omit dialog, we are in a verbal stream and, as death is no more, there is almost no end point not Moreover, obviously !!!
