Earlier this year, I bought a LG GW620 Slider Android (1.5), with whom I was very pleased. Since the development of the Android system is very fast, I sold the GW620 and LG P500 my purchased First conclusion: The device is absolutely outrageous.
Positives:
- Very good brilliant display / good to use
- Adroid 2.2 Froyo: Many applications, which made on the GW620 problems now running perfectly (Sipdroid)
- WiFi Tethering: on business trips, I no longer do with a USB card around the notebook, but activate the Thethering on Andoid
and have WiFi connection via laptop Andoid an Internet connection
- Long term: Despite UMTS, WiFi and Tethering I can work for hours
- The price / performance ratio is top notch! For under 250 you get a mature Andoid 2.2 phone
- Very important to me: Because A-GPS (Assistant), the LG P500 GPS provides in seconds !! the current position, so that
you can use the navigation system shortly after the start. Especially when you're in a drive off in a big city myself
always annoyed when the GPS still had to determine the position for several minutes.
Negatives:
- I have problems with the virtual QWERTY keyboard; the buttons are difficult to make, so I have to correct often. Is
possibly even a matter of practice!
My Conclusion: For the price you do absolutely nothing wrong and holds a top notch device in your hands!
