I admit: the two new albums The Wicked Symphony and Angel Of Babylon are musically different from the metal operas. many say commercial and not metal. It's a different music. But I think Tobias Sammet has been a way which is right. The music is still metal, only the hard rock influences have become stronger. The mix. Metal, Hard Rock, Orchestral and also a little mainstream, everything adds up to 2 super albums. Which reminds me better like when listening to Angel Of Babylon, it has become more melodic than Wicked Symphony. The tracks get stuck immediately, it is not a failure on the disk. The opener comes stargazers super over, you feel after almost 10 minutes, you could hear a further 10 minutes. Angel Of Babylon and your love is evil to go along as well straight. Death is just a feeling starts slowly but then increases very quickly before with rat race again going on the post. Rat Race is a good example: fast, hard but more hard rock. Head down the dark the first slow song: blowing out the flame, just a beautiful ballad Symphony of Life is again very hard, as do the 2 following tracks, to conclude a beautiful melodic journey to Arcadia All in all, a full 5 star album, very hard, very fast, more hard rock than heavy metal, a bit more melodic than wicked (but also 4-5 stars) for all who are on melodic hard rock and metal is a must, even for me the best album of the trilogy (at No. 2: The Scarecrow and just behind The Wicked Symphony)
