Overall a very good show captured on 2 CD with a fascinating Kurt Rosenwinkel, for me the discovery of the festival at all. The title Heavenly Bodies has burned in my memory. Interesting then the interplay of Kurt Rosenwinkel with Eric Clapton, who also highlights in a row with his singing a jazz standard into a higher dimension. Wonderfully natural and fluid all goes here. Rarely so good jazz heard and seen Blues piece. Buddy Guy is always surprising fresh and spirited, in his term he steals some younger artists smooth the show. Not to be missed: Damn right I got the blues.
Keb Mo convinced fully, both in acoustic duet as well as in the rest of the performance. Again, very down to earth and left, but the music reached the top on top.
This artist alone and some more are sufficient fully to the CD to hear or to see. Conclusion: At least 85 out of 100 points. Hopefully there's another Crossroads Festival.
