Alien Zombies against robot dinosaurs ?!

Zombie Robot vs Ninja Aliens? Or would you prefer magician pirate against dinosaurs crooks? Or maybe something else? Zombie Dinosaurs? Not matter, the main thing inflict enough damage, annoy his teammates and surprise and at the end enter the well deserved victory.

In Smash Up, players choose a combination of two different types (zombies, dinosaurs, robots, etc.), mix the cards and then besiege points-making bases with creatures and actions. The text-heavy in places, cards are played with a very simple mechanism. A player may play an action, and a creature (usually at a base) per train. Once the attack value of all creatures is achieved at a base whose defense value these destroyed and the players get points depending on the respective base and placed there creatures. Then a new base is uncovered (so that more bases are present as a player) and a total of 15 victory points is final.

Not only the bases are very different in how they work but especially the playable factions. While magicians are very action-heavy, flooding the robot bases with mass and velocity. By selecting two different types, numerous combinations and many many interesting games found. Especially the fact that there is no split victories in Smash Up, already took care of incredibly exciting moments. This is pure excitement and gives even the supposed losers still a great chance of winning the unexpected victory.

Conclusion: Smash Up is great. Although the mechanism is almost banal, the different fractions for powerful steam make on the table. The game is very fun and very interactive. I also have to praise the very cards. Each fraction was painted by a different artist.
