Salvation (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Yes, there is! Alphaville, cult band of the eighties to Marian Gold and Bernhard Lloyd made famous with hits such as "Forever Young" and "Big in Japan", put on this new CD some fantastic pieces before: "Flame" would in my opinion what it takes to hit, as well as "Wishful Thinking", which should really be called "Wish you were dead", after intervention by the record company but had to be renamed. The album has plenty of other strong pieces, but apparently Alphaville was no longer trusted to greater success to have- promotion was rather weak, except for a tour and a few posters there was no sign. Nevertheless: Who liked the early music of Alphaville, so the first two albums, and then something was frightened by the third and fourth, to "Salvation" should at least listen times: It's really good pop, as in the eighties.
