Packaging / feel:
Everything as you would expect from Tamron. Not super great but good. A little cardboard and paper work that was it.
The haptics of this lens is good, solid plastic but what you want to expect for the price more?

- The zoom ring is extremely difficult to turn. (Why a Lock key has been installed is beyond me, so my tube does not go out, not even when `s shake :)

Yes I know the Tamron advertising promises convince (roughly) this and you can be so happily of great publicity photos.
If I make shots in the dark then I use basically a tripod and then I adjust the Vrschlusszeit the panel and not vice versa.
and please do not forget, and that's important at a 2,8er bezel DoF is very low and probably one reason why some think that's the lens out of focus.
Do not be discouraged and tried this lens from it is better than many people think.
