But even here a small decision support, for hesitant buyers, in the form of pros and cons:
+ Haptics - which leaves no wishes unfulfilled in my eyes
+ Sharpness - right into the corners
+ Aperture ring - I only knew from analog photography (thank goodness I switched to Fujifilm-bearing)
+ Autofocus - very accurately
o Focus - Manual Focus appears to be internally electrically, I have concerns about the power consumption
o OIS - that I lack a little, because I have shaky hands and so very high shutter speeds need
o Lens Hood - tarnishes the value of this objective something -sitzt not as strong as with other manufacturers
- ...... - In my opinion there is no serious criticisms
Conclusion:
I like taking pictures with this lens, it is very versatile and provides convincing results.
Now I know why other photographers are so enthusiastic about fixed focal lengths.
But concerns about the manual focus can -Maybe me here so a precise operation remain
describe.
But Finally, I would like to express my recommendation for this lens.

Update 23/10/2014:
On my trip to Ireland my X-T1 and the XF 23mm me accompanied. I'm still excited about
this lens and have not at any time regret to have only a fixed focal length.
My initial concerns about the power consumption by the manual focus I can not
refute, since I mainly used the very fast and unerring autofocus.
