The wife of the V th is a very good book, easy reading but nonetheless involved, where it is found embedded in plots, murders, mysteries, in short, is advanced at a frightening speed in the novel without seeing pass the time . Very good Kennedy, up to three quarters of the book. Not that the end is bad, but the author has chosen the fantastic, surreal creating a break with all the above and just spoils the fun. Easy solution? Lack of inspiration? We were expecting a more explosive answer to all these previously well-run, advanced and disappointment. Mr. Kennedy can do better, he has already proven. Too bad.
