The solo campaign

In recent years, I have played the last Call of Duty parts on the PlayStation 3 and therefore know the Call of Duty typical solo campaigns very well. Typical of the campaign the extreme action packed battles are (shoot, shoot and shoot again) as well as the impressive explosions.
But in direct comparison with its predecessors, my campaign in Ghosts like much better, because the developers have provided for guests. The player controls depending on the level, among others, a tank, flying a Kampfheli or controls a drone.
Care is taken in any case always a lot of action and variety, and also the story makes this time a little more sense. Even though the story - as with any CoD part - is foreseen for the most part.
The 18 challenging levels are played out depending on player type in about 4-6 hours. If you like it a little more difficult, or want to play through the campaign again can choose between 4 different levels of difficulty.
The solo campaign is indeed fall a bit short, but has in the short time a lot of fun and variety.
The multiplayer

The heart of every Call of Duty part is the multiplayer mode. With 14 multiplayer maps (plus any of Zusatzmap Freefall), some new game modes and dynamic game content Activision has come up with some new features. Unfortunately not only positive changes.
Really liked having incited me only the new game mode. Kill your enemy as the own soldier for 30 seconds to play as the drug. It moves much faster, the rate of fire is increased. You kill in 30 seconds immediately no further players so explodes the player. So the game still runs significantly faster than in normal Team Deathmatch.
For most players it is probably it, the usual game modes Team Deathmatch and / or a variant of Capture the Flag running play. The other game modes are a nice side dish, but played by the fewest.
The new cards will shine with new interactive content according to the developers. Here the player noted however too little of. Yes, on the one or two times a Tree Map falls to or it can be a little blow open but the dynamic content who wished the players? I do not think so. What I have liked better because the effects that change the appearance of the entire map. This happens, for example, on the Map Strike Zone. A specially crafted command field, these are certain additional orders can do the players this effect is triggered and the entire map changes the optics.
The approach is so good, but still needs to be significantly improved.
Then there are turn maps that are just too big and not really fit for me from the map design in the game. As an example, Stonehaven to camp a huge map in the ruined medieval building design with many options or to hide. Personally I would have imagined even to run on Stonehaven with sword and shield.
Overall, the player has the feeling that some maps have been carelessly and too large designed. However, there are also maps again bring a lot of fun. If desired, I would have a mode with specific choice of the map.
Throughout the game various soldiers can be unlocked. These soldiers may be additional items, etc. equipped in turn by the player with different weapons. For the activation points have to firings and / or do are collected quests. Of course, again a number of perks available. Under Perks are skills / understanding improvements. So there are for example the ability to run over a longer distance or to be invisible for airstrikes. These are just 2 of a great many perks.
Overall, the multiplayer in Call of Duty Ghosts has a lot of options and can also have fun as long as you are preparing is on the right map. With the 50-euro Season Pass will be available in 2014 for another 4 map packs for download. We can only hope that developers learn during the creation of new cards from the mistakes of the existing maps.
The Chart

Mir is the game for both the PS3 and for the PS4. The jump from the current gene on the Next Gen consoles is not really big. Explosions act on the PS3 a little less spectacular. The water effects (waves) are shown simple. In direct comparison to the PS4 the textures are a bit fuzzier. Overall, the CoD Ghosts no graphics bomb, it does not matter if it is played on the PS3 or PS4.
Conclusion:

Call of Duty Ghosts gives players a good and action-packed, but unfortunately also entertaining solo campaign. The online carnage fun with limitations.
The partial but very large maps and unfavorable Spawnpunkte bring the player to the a different location on the palm. However, several features such as various game modes, unlockable weapons and items and 14 different maps provide a long term motivation. I'm strong on the assumption that future patches bring even the odd improvement.
The dynamic content could not really convince me. The controls are excellent as usual for a console shooter.
Graphically, you realize that the graphics engine is mitlerweile getting old.
Total Ghosts gets from me 3.5 of 5 stars because it is still a good game is with some quirks, but I heavily innovations missing. To me, it acts as the name Call of Duty is used as Geldmelkmaschine and the developers give in terms of innovation too little effort. I hope this policy will change in future titles in the series.
