These two lines are from the theme song of the 2013 released album "Push the Sky Away" the Australian band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. The last line of the quote accurately reflects my feelings about the whole work, because each of the nine songs - I think each a masterpiece - is penetrated directly to my soul, no exaggeration.

If you want to evaluate music remains is to say alone, whether music is of high quality. And high quality is the music of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, no discussion. The rest is all in the ear of the listener.

Music has the gift to trigger a whole range of emotions and acts differently to each listener. I will now try to be my own personal impressions and feelings while listening to "Push the Sky Away" in words.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' music moves beyond the bustle of everyday life and the band kicks in "Push the Sky Away" above all quiet sounds on. In mostly gentle melodies dramatic fantasies are treated in mysterious and poetic lyrics. Rarely have I something so deep and intense and in his own, beguiling and almost terrible way heard wonderful. As the last notes died away, and the CD was played, I was once a while perfectly still there and let reverberate the spell created by the music.
The prevailing mood of "Push the Sky Away" is rather depressed, melancholic, depressing and full of seriousness. Although the music is so deeply sad, it is also gratifying in a strange way. Nick Cave's pleasantly deep voice, sometimes dreamy, almost tenderly and sometimes downright rude, threatening and passionate, but always full of pain, harmonizes wonderfully with the almost tangible atmosphere.
