My parents had the habit of buying the latest album of the great artists of their time. This is how I discovered the Beatles with 'Let It Be' and this disc holds for me a special place in their discography. I rediscovered today after the facelift done according to the will of Paul Mc Cartney: A sleek sound (depending on the title), two pieces (symbolic) within a song (the excellent 'Do not let me down' of John Lennon, who was also included on the original) and more, and a completely changed tracklisting. This is quite a change for a convincing result that more commercial. The most obvious transformation relates to The Long and Winding Road stripped of his strings and choruses. It is true that the 1970 edition was a little overproduced but it did not bother me too much. Mc CARTNEY manages to make a different version, however, an interest equivalent to the original.
