"Everybody Knows" one quasi musically the best of the Young Gods of 25 years. Much sounds familiar, the epic soundscapes midst longer songs you already know. But you can get from them is never enough. And with "No Land's Man" presented the quartet had grown trio for the first time into a true space rock. Grooving The album, where there is not spacet, but not as severe as even its predecessor. The mixture of electronics and guitar is just right again: avant-garde Industrial.
The mixed with avant-garde rap's live: to Majestix 'sound bowl sounds Dälek raps on the third DVD of "Limited Box". After that, the Young Gods and Dälek-musicians play as if on a split CD together pieces from each other. That's very sexy to terrible times to understate: the familiar Young Gods tracks sound completely different than when they present themselves live. Even the orchestra on the first DVD brings a few new ideas in the audio. By contrast, everything is still Dälek spherical nor gooviger, yet idiosyncratic than anyway. It is amazing that these extreme collaboration not musically extreme result has. And then: everything live, others obstruct it for months in studios. Herrlich.
The Orchestra DVD, there is also a great guest star Mike Patton sings alone "Did You Miss Me" and a duet with Franz Treichler the "September Song" by Kurt Weill. Two such character voices together that touches everyone's skin. Incredibly impressive. But Patton's contribution is no coincidence: His label Ipecac released the Young Gods CDs in the United States. The average DVD now is, after all, solid: The now third commercially available live document of the Young Gods for "Live Sky Tour" and "Live Noumatrouff 1997 '. This does not mean that it is not good. Although all three CD-DVD combinations are also available separately, but when you're at it, you should not miss any of them. It is worth it.
