Practice is a very unknown band from the 90s. Your avant-garde experimental style makes access difficult for the general public.
The band consists of:

Buckethead (guitar)
Bryan "Brain" Mantia (drums; ex Primus)
Bootsy Collins (bass Space)
Bernie Worrell (organ)

Producer is Bill Laswell. Influences of funk, fusion, metal and hip hop combined with avant-garde elements. The musicians run in this album on top form! Whether it's the groovy hip hop beats Mantias' are that metaligen / rock solos of Buckethead or the funky basslines of Bootsy Collins. Everything adds up to a whole that is fun again.

Bernie Worrell directs example "Seven Laws of Woo" with a sacred organ passage which then flows into a merger. Accompanied the songs of effects such as scratching or samples. The songs are varied, but sometimes hard for the linear sequences and harmonies "spoiled average ear" like hot for listeners who have not been heard in unconventional rhythms and harmonies initially disconcerting.

If you give the album a chance, however, and gets involved in the music will you be rewarded with new fabulous facets.

A "must have" for all who want to know experimental music, or looking for something new are others.
