Attention a number of DEFY fail after a few days of use! The problem is in the speaker level. We no longer hear the person called. The cause seems to the origin appears to be the use of the jack. As can be seen from reading the Motorola support forums, the problem seems to affect all models worldwide. It would clearly be a hardware problem because a factory reset does not solve the problem.
I have been concerned after four days of use. I refer him to get a new one which, I hope, will work!
