Nothin 'But Trouble (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The second masterpiece of Blue Murder is the debut in every way and sure with the same strengths: superb guitar work, great rhythms, fantastic vocals. It will probably remain an eternal mystery why John Sykes (vocals / guitar, ex-WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY, Tygers of Pan Tang), TONY FRANKLIN (BASS, ex-THE FIRM) and CARMINE APPICE (drums, ex-BLACK SABBATH) with these two masterpieces (other words are too weak) never made the breakthrough.

This alone already connects the opener WE ALL FALL DOWN everything you need for heavy metal. Toller Drive, catchy vocal melody and guitar work between THIN LIZZY and WHITESNAKE that drives many amateur guitarists in despair and many professionals in emergency declaration. And the cover of SMALL FACES classic Itchycoo PARK needs comparisons with the original not to shy away from. CRY FOR LOVE could also appear on the former BLACK SABBATH albums with Tony Martin on vocals (THE HEADLESS CROSS or TYR). So changeable and yet on the other hand were distinctively again BLUE MURDER.

For Nothin 'But Trouble also must be noted that the sound much fresher comes out of the speakers, as yet in Blue Murder, which was in some areas maybe a little overproduced. Overall, both BLUE MURDER and Nothin 'But Trouble belong in any well-stocked Heavy Metal-CD collection, the emphasis to be reasonably complete it. So - and the only way - must be heavy metal. Thank you John!
