It is thus by far the weakest Fisheye what I have ever seen. And my comparison is the Canon 8-15mm on Canon APS-C at 10mm or 15mm on full frame DSLR, with Micro 4/3 the Fisheye of Pansonic or Walimex (Walimex is still much better although it can not compete with the other two ), Sigma 15mm on full frame etc.
I can for Samsung NX1 users only guess is a manual Canon EF adapter to get on Samsung NX and as the Canon ranzuhängen 8-15mm. Beware of adapters, not all simulate a mounted lens, so you can not trip at some (have Fotodiox the work).
Focusing is in the center with magnifier (Set button) and thus are the border areas due to the high depth of field is also sharp. Or you can use the Fokuspeaking function of NX1. This is worlds better than the Samsung Fisheye, practically at eye level as at Canon DSLR (although the remoteness a small idea on Canon DSLR is better but the difference is negligible especially with panoramic montages with overlaps). The aperture of f4 is perfectly adequate in most cases, so you will rarely miss Fade Out.
Why is the NX1 for panoramic photographers so interesting? Because the dynamics is incredibly well in RAW format. The brightening of dark shadow lies on full-frame level of Sony sensors (A7 / A7R). So you can be a number of exposure especially in the often high contrasts save eg at 360 degrees Panormen and work with single-RAWs (Lightroom or Photoshop ACR use)!
