I will here not even begin cheap advertising for the Doors, let alone doing for the album, because that have the survivors to the myth Morrison really do not deserve, but anyone who this disc sounds exactly will hopefully realize what for a unique phenomenon they were: Revolutionary Music with partially tangled lyrics, brilliant voice, creative ideas and perfect atmosphere. Who has not heard the cry for erleuchtendem FIRE or is not suicidal when languishing friend Jim longingly from the end, his only ?! The most brilliant moments are the hidden, the undiscovered commercially: for example, the unbeatable atmosphere of "End of the Night", the almost hypnotic organ in "Take It As It Comes" connected to the to take it easy proposal, the search for the next whiskey Bar in Brecht-style, the "Crystal Ship" with Doors-typical Hall and so quiet sound that he is once again disturbing and last but not least "Break On Through", the ultimate Doors song with the desire (or the good advice?) convert the doors of perception to the other side. Of course, this works equally poorly with the rest of the Doors albums that time, only just not have at least as much energy to the legendary status of the first plate. There was nothing more to say. Buy it or leave it, but please give it not blame me ...
