What really spoiled my pleasure can not be accurately described under penalty of spoiling the story (settlement), but this is due to a failure to comply with codes and romantic especially the detective novel. The narrative process used (knowing the thoughts of protagonists sets) is not suitable for "reversals" of history. The "contract" reader / writer is not respected, the player is not "surprised" by the twists of the plot but deceived, cheated. It annoys (always when we see this type of process).
Moreover, for the same reason, the characters "walk" not, their actions or "psychology" are neither consistent nor credible. Things that usually "pass" in a block-buster where the characters are reduced to vague figures that can only scratches. But the author has said too much about their personality to play the puppeteers.
In short, the story is artificial. I have no principle of opposition to the novels "that sell" and when the story "on" I do not sulk my pleasure. In loccurrence, the revenue is too plated studiously applied ... the result is "fade" and industrial.
Nevertheless, apart from this annoyance, you probably spend your good time, we do not mind, the book is calibrated to "entertain". The place (Berlin) adds charm and documentary work of the author on ... certain aspects of the story (I do not spoil you!).
Personally, for this kind of reading, I find what I'm looking for H. Coban (plus, humor and the second degree and characters certainly "wrong", but very endearing).
