Game preparation:
The input map "Heaven's Gate" and the eviction card are placed with their storage cards on the table and in between (this is the "Drängelmeile") left room for 5 cards.
Players will receive the 12 animal cards of their color, mix them and take 4 on the hand - put the remaining 8 cards they draw pile deck than in front of him.
Aim of the game:
To have brought most of (own) animals in the bar!
How to play:
The active player always performs the following 5 actions in succession, then the next player follows clockwise.
1) card play; an animal card from the hand to the end of the queue in the Drängelmeile create or start with the first animal, the queue at the Heaven's Gate.
Run 2) Animal Action; the action of just been playing animal will be performed directly - if possible.
Skunk (1): distributes all the animals of the two species most represented (but never skunks) on the "expulsion" posting
Parrot (2): scared any animal from the Drängelmeile on the "expulsion" posting
Kangaroo (3): skips either the last or the last two animals in the queue
Monkey (4): alone ineffective; swapping in a second or further monkey, all hippos and crocodiles are on the "kicking" supplanted storage and an the monkeys (with the currently played out front) come on the top places of the queue
Chameleon (5): performs the action of any animal in the queue (and has at the same time the card value of this animal for the moment)
Robbe (6): swaps the Heaven's Gate and kicking cards (and thus the order of the queue, the last is now the first ^^)
Zebra (7): constantly "active" and can not be overridden by other hippos or crocodiles obsolete or eaten - all animals "before" the Zebra are therefore certainly before the hippopotamus and the crocodile
Giraffe (8): overhauled all the "weaker" animals (lower card value)
Snake (9): causes all animals are sorted by "Strength" (card value) - the strongest at the entrance to the bar, etc.
Crocodile (10): constantly "active" and eats all the "weaker" in front of him
Hippo (11): jostles at all "weaker" animals towards the bar entrance past
Leo (12): he arrives alone in the queue, he sells all the monkeys on the "expulsion" posting, is already a lion in the queue, the new ones automatically comes to the "expulsion" posting.
The cards are all constructed the same, up in the corner is the card "strength" (1-12), the Konteferi fills almost the whole map and the bottom is in symbol font the possibility of the animal action.
3) "Permanent" animal action to perform; the ongoing actions of the hippopotamus, crocodile and zebra must be checked and re-executed by each player in each train. The giraffe, unless it was just played.
4) 5-Animals-check; all might have been performed and are still 5 animals in the queue, the first 2 are in the bar left (stored there) and the last animal in the series comes to the "expulsion" posting. The other two back to the entrance and it can in the next train back animals are created.
Tighten 5) map; at the end of his turn, the player takes the top card of his draw pile to the hand.
All discarded cards are laid face down forever!
Once gaps in the queue arise, back all the animals on it.
Full time:
The game ends when all players have played all animal cards. Now the cards in the Beasty bar are revealed and counted which player could bring most of the animals in the bar - this wins the game.
Variant:
Advanced use the back of the overview map and the points listed there (2-4) per animal to hold, who has the most points, made by animals in the bar. The game is played only with 8 cards, the other 4 ranked each player according to their own choice out.
Conclusion:
A successful game with beautiful cards, catchy gameplay and fast laps - at least without extreme brooder.
By dependencies of cards to each other, creates a form of trick-taking game and thus also much tactical depth. By clever combination of certain animals or of the played sequence accordingly, the players can be already brought to despair ^^.
Luck certainly plays a certain role, but not severe.
The game did in many cast rounds to convince and made all the same amount of fun.
The only stumbling block are the various options for actions of the animals that we still have to read quite often in the early rounds. Since it is a shame that there is only one (dt.) Overview map that needs to be passed around LFD. (Parallel to the manual, which also contains the descriptions on the last pages).
Overall, however, remains a fancy game for a lot of laps!
