Game preparation:
The game design is wonderfully simple, the 120 cards are shuffled and dealt to each player 2, the rest comes as a draw pile in the middle of the table and the top eight cards are dealt face down in a circle around the stack.
The Hamsters tickets are available in the colors light green (value 1), dark green (value 1), light blue (value 2), dark blue (value 2), yellow (value 3), orange (value 3) and red (value 4).
Aim of the game:
To achieve the most victory points!
How to play:
The active player always has the choice of three options, one of which he is allowed to perform two and must - this same action can also be carried out twice.
1) hamsters; the player takes a card from the 8-series display on the hand. A card number can consist of only 1 card (beginning of the game, for example)!
He then draws three cards from the deck and places them, starting from the point at which the map (n-tier) was recorded individually the cards clockwise off or invest. This is how gradually the longer rows of cards.
2) blocking; the player puts a set of cards and thus blocked this card for all the other players, because there can only be one map set a variety ausliegen open - is a player on the "blockade" stack the light blue "2" on the top, as he previously the Set has played, may now no other play a light blue "2", he set up has been said light blue "2" is covered by a different set or "blockade" stack has been turned upside down for points stack (see below)!
A map set always consists of X cards of one suit, where X is determined by the number printed on the card.
If the player chooses the dark blue "2" design, it has two dark blue "2" card, he discard. He wants to interpret the yellow "3", it must three yellow "3" cards he take, etc.
A yellow "3" and two orange "3" it does not constitute a set!
Thus, it is considered the "hamsters" cleverly as possible the male card (rows) to choose to a) sit well, even if a number is blocked and b) so many cards to get rid of in order to score later.
It must never more or less of a card sets are stored, it must always fit!
However, one must play an identical set several times, if possible. So, for example, three times the light green "1", since each "1" in itself is a set or two sets of two dark blue "2" it, etc.
3) points; the player turns the current face-up "blockade" to stack or decides its cards face down on an already existing "points" stack - these cards are at the end of points (1 per card). Thus, the blockade of the previously located above card type is canceled.
Then he gets from the player who currently has the most cards on hand, as many cards as the value of the card corresponds to the very top was still just pile on his former "blockade". If several players have the same number of cards, he may choose the players, but the players choose the cards. Did he even still the most cards in his hand, he does not receive additional cards!
These cards he plays face down and without looking at them with stacks on his "points".
Full time:
As soon as the draw pile is depleted, the rows of cards can not be filled and so the game ends when only 3 are left over from the 8 series cards.
The players now count their hole cards, pull this, the number of remaining cards from hand and so calculate their total number of victory points (open discarded cards count no points at the end). The winner is the player with the highest number of victory points.
Conclusion:
Hamsterbacke is a very trickiges game that initially gives the false impression by its simple sequence, it would be too simple card game!
In fact, the players must closely watch which cards they accept when and play to score points at the right moment or to secure the discarded cards.
Therefore, the test rounds went across the board amused, excited, angry and demanded, as tactical approaches encounter pure luck drawing cards and which is then accompanied by gloating ^^.
Correct unfair it was but this never, because there always arose ways otherwise collect cards if you pay attention.
An entertaining game with funny-sweet drawings for each occupation round!
