Yet another newcomer who is preparing to show the rock world, what a rake is. Following the successful debut of Vanessa Carlton is now following the 17-year-old Avril Lavigne with her first work. The sign here look a little different. She writes the songs do not all even - for the texts she is already in charge - and its pace is a lot rougher and reminiscent of an Alanis Morissette with youthful energy. One can also just say this rock and does not have the hands wrestling to seeking a new label, A & R - follow people who some of Skate - tell Punk. The music lives from the carefree, but already vocally mature sounding Canadian and the driving guitar riffs, which support the most catchy melodies. Somewhat poor sound their lyrics, but you can see that the young artist (and interested in Germany but almost no one). More importantly, the enthusiasm, the songs like their single "Complicated", "Losing Grip" or "Sk8er Boi" is mediate and rejoice that there are still young, independent artists who were not publicly cast on the now usual way.
