From the Cradle (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Here EC proves once again as a - in my opinion - the best blues guitarist. This album from 1994 is certainly one of the best blues albums of the last few decades. Finally, Clapton was in the studio again (almost) as playful as we know it live. Although it is "From The Cradle" actually is a live album - only without an audience. The songs are exclusively cover versions and up to a few numbers sluggish properly and heavy blues numbers, where Clapton can really let off steam with a variety of guitars, which must have made him audible fun. Even after a long time at a studio album, once again a Gibson (this sound!) To hear in Clapton's hands to justify the purchase.

Here it must be mentioned as check out tip "Five Long Years". Who it does not itch in your fingers to grip even the guitar solo in this, has nothing to do with music. For Clapton fans: listen to this song on the DVD "Live In Hyde Park" to;)
