Result now this cold zone fryer SF 4050 by Fritel, a Belgian company. I bought it at Allerding fonq on their German website since they there only 60 cost.
They can be completely disassembled, so it has a removable stainless steel container but facilitates cleaning considerably. Before first use, you should do it better and so I could also test the same. Disassemble, clean and reassemble was a breeze. With its dimensions of 21 x 32 x 28cm (WxHxD) and weight of less than 1kg it can be conveniently stored.
Test run was then with 2L cooking oil (Lidl, for 2.99 - heatable to 180C) and frozen serrated chips (LIDL, 1kg of 0.99). Frying fat can also added into this fryer but are (manual does not recommend, however, surprisingly from, although it is advertised) and I will certainly be testing times also - finally fry the Belgians their famous fries in refined beef fat.
It heats really fast on (170 ° C in about 3 min) and took me with her frying result after 5min (would have been enough, according to the French pack 4min sure, but I like it like something crunchy) absolutely convinced. The body of the outer wall is grad mal lukewarm as the status area under the fryer. It does not splash and the smell is really negligible, making me open the frying (the supplied cover is only a dust cover and should never be placed in frying) but then was very pleasantly surprised. But that may be due to the frying oil.
The handle is folded inwards to stow space saving can. For use you have to take him with some pressure only into its usable position - I was here at the beginning a little too timid ;-)
It is specified to fry with the possibility approx 0.5kg fried. That comes out in fact, even if you - according to the instructions the basket (13.5 x 20 x 8cm (WxLxD)) max. should fill 2/3 with frozen fries.
For a single person is more than sufficient. And also for 2 persons the capacity of Frittierkorbes should be sufficient - for 2 people as a side dish all.
For me a very strong buy recommendation!
