Save Your Kisses (Audio CD)

Customer Review

That since Natasha's first hit, "Why (Does Your Love Hurt So Much)" already more than 1 year has passed suggests that they really took time to their debut album. Unfortunately, this can listen to the result difficult. "Save your kisses "is a solid pop album, which, however, unfortunately not many weaknesses, but also strengths nor presented. The 14 tracks rippling partly along, but this is also due to the simplicity of audio medium.
Already that intro (Loving you is not easy) indicates the direction for the rest of the plate: Softer Pop Reggae without draft (neither textually nor musically).
Songs like "Save your kisses for me", "Young Hearts" or "Why" are nice to listen to sound like the assembly line, which is not to say that they are produced cheaply, but simply are not peculiarities.
The second single "It's Over Now" While swimming in the same waters but is by its very beautiful, catchy melody Highlite represents.
"More & More" is a rather gently held pop number that remains hanging in the ear due to the frequent repetition of the refrain.
To create the test a ballad succeed the seventh title "Sunshine after rain" only conditionally. The Song, who lives sounds only of Natasha's voice and guitar, what I anrechne very positive because this rather simple arrangement not as overstylt and mediocre sound like most mass ballads, has unfortunately too little recognition and could have come from almost any teen singer.
Back to the roots, it is then in "Suddenly", the style of the first tracks of the album continues without problems.
With "I just'm a little bit shy," Natasha surprised me after all. The ballad pop song belongs neither to a fixed genre, yet it sounds cheesy or boring. A quite joyful discovery on this CD.
Finely produced pop we find in the next two numbers, but just like "Can not Turn Back Time" (Track 12) designed to be comfortable to listening filler.
"Roller Coster Ride" is a beautiful pop ballad that achieved by their catchy effect an absolute hit potential.
Unfortunately, there are no expected Highlite but another Pop (ballad), which can already see by the title "More than friends", that it is primarily on this CD to teenage problems to completion.
All in all, a neat produced pop album, which would, however, requires a bit more variety. But you have to remember that this is Natasha's debut album and their next two plates are then probably show only their way in the music business. The first steps were taken, however, successful.
For 4 stars I found it too simple and too predictable. It lacked clear a few Highlite tracks you (except for the single "It's Over Now" in vain looking for). 3 stars!
