by now using the catchy Brown Cooltec CT5cc Wireless Wet & Dry shaver I would like to ask my review available.
First of all I would like to inform you that I have tested various razors in the past. Among the major brands of Philips Braun were up to Panasonic.
My beard I would classify as a little difficult because I often have to descendants with the razor straight in the neck several times. My beard is rather sparsely populated and not as dense.
We come to the Brown Cooltec:
Packaging and processing is absolutely top. There is nothing to complain about. The cleaning station is very large. This should be aware just owner of a small bathroom. For pure charging can also waive the cleaning station. To this end, there is a small charging cradle, but with the Braun nonetheless demands an impressive size in the bathroom.
The first battery I run overnight. Then it came to testing.
What is the shaving result:
To date, I am personally not come with Braun shavers cope. I do prefer shaver from Philips. Therefore, I was once prejudiced. Without inclusion of the cooling function I have to pass few times one and the same place, unfortunately, here in the neck area. This leads to redness with me. With the active cooling technology you can turn quite often go through one and the same place. Here are no redness present. Thus, the razor comes only with active cooling with me in use. This time I'm due course limited, as this combination just provides power for 15 minutes. Thus, often needs to be recharged.
Subjectively, it is of course so that my beard is not available for the entire humanity. Certainly there are many people who have to show any redness without active cooling. Therefore, everyone must decide for themselves here, how it is sensitive or not.
If I had the choice between a shaver has achieved a battery life of 50-60 minutes without active cooling technology, or just less than 15 minutes can be used with active cooling technology, so I'll probably still choose the razor without active cooling technology. This is regardless of brand.
What else I noticed?
- Surely the brown is a razor that is optimized and improved in the future with certainty. Battery performance with active cooling technology I think is very low.
- The follow-up costs for the cleaning cartridge and the shaving head you should also include always. These are not without the anyway sporting manufacturer price.
- Because of the shear head is not movable, it adapts to even the face. Who has achieved many edges or similar, should think about the good. This is probably due to type of construction of the production, including the cooling block.
- The shaver has a quite large weight unlike other razors.
- The small beard trimmer is good. Since I had, fully fitted no problems when using and also has the power, which it provides.
Conclusion:
The Brown Cooltec CT5cc is a razor that is in its infancy. Much wanted only half a clever one might say. The shaving performance as I would classify good to satisfactory. I'm always with my current Philips PT923 / 18 Pro PowerTouch better manage and use this a lot better. But that is simply subjective, as it almost like a religion, whether one is brown, Philips or Panasonic uses razor.
In addition to the sporting base price should of course follow-up costs for the cleaning cartridge with Anticipated. Furthermore one has to expect that the battery does not hold with an active use of cooling technology forever. Thus I forgive 3 stars for a razor that has potential, it is not but uses.
