After the rather gloomy, but excellent, "The Tension And The Spark" Darren Hayes delivers here his magnum opus. The album, replete with 25 songs on 2 CDs, is a cornucopia of musical and lyrically sophisticated and varied songs. All songs were a Fairlight synthesizer (gebts a times on YouTube) composed and exude pure joy (or heartbreak).
From clubby tracks such as "Step Into The Light", "Me, Myself & I" and "Listen All You People" up to beautiful ballads (eg "Words", "Sing To Me" and "Maybe") which range this varied album
Darren is one of the artists, which is 100% the things decreases over which they sing. This is also due to the fact that Mr. Hayes has incorporated much of his childhood / youth in Australia.
The definite highlight for me personally is the song Casey (which is the third single from the album). This song begins quietly with strings and increases from the half in one of the best dance tracks I've heard in a long time.
In addition to the album, I can wholeheartedly recommend the associated singles ["On The Verge Of Something Wonderful" (great pop through and through) and "Me, Myself & I" (great song, which by Darren's high falsetto in the song best to Princes Times reminds)]
Conclusion: Those who love Savage Garden and Dance / Pop is no way around this masterpiece! For me one of the best albums ever.
