I have the Nespresso U, the capsules "pierces" automatically and ejects, this feature is actually very comfortable, but causes the capsules are crushed. The capsules are due in part to the front (silver foil) so deformed, the ground coffee outlet and contaminate the machine. The back is deformed in many different ways. My device was already once in the repair. Although I had attached a bag with deformed capsules shared one with me that this was not the problem occurred and the machine is OK.
My second attempt was a mail (with pictures) in the Nespresso Customer Service. An employee of the art explained to me that I should clean and descale my machine and would then no longer occur my problem. I kept this solution although unlikely tried it but still. Today, the machine has again a capsule so crushed exited the powder and the other pierced just behind so that although water was pushed into it, but it could not escape.
Priced at about 0.35 per capsule, the U is thus a very expensive Nespresso machine, because quite a lot of capsules thrown away without the coffee in the cup was. I'll try to report a picture of my capsules of today attach.
In summary, I can only say, actually is a Nespresso machine great, but "piercing" of the U and other devices with automatic one should stay away.
