Depeche Mode, producer of sound experiments since 1979

- First listen: I find the tab Depeche Mode sound often experimental work, the voice of Dave Gahan in great shape, and some punchy melodies (Should be Higher and Soothe My Soul) and as often with Depeche Mode's first single n is not the best song of the album, just the most accessible. Flat for an old fan of Depeche Mode: no instrumental interlude in this album, why?

- Second listening: wish I had not noticed at first listen variations in rhythm and voice work on Slow Goodbye has a peach of hell, there is a strong increase of the pace in Broken, it is really nice this album

- Third listening: less affordable songs fall into the head progressively, there is a good alternate walks, bluesy and uptempo, this album is almost without false notes (I still struggle with Soft Touch) and is full of potential for the live (I look forward to Soothe my soul live!)

Depeche Mode has always the recipe, without boring or repeating himself, connoisseurs of the group can buy eyes closed and others, provided they are open to electronic music worked tends rather dark, will not be disappointed.
