Parklife (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Blur began their first US tour in the day as 'Nevermind' appeared and mutated into a Mecca of grunge guitar rock. Damon Albarn has hated that. The previous album 'Modern Life Is Rubbish' was quite understanding in movement and attitude as an alternative.
With 'Parklife' Blur have deepened and enriched the concept again. Almost every song is a gem: One of my all time faves 'baldhead', Britpop gaudy: 'LondonLoves ... the waypeople just fall apart', unspun psychedelia 'Far Out (Syd Barret says hello), pastoral indie pop' clover over Dover ', widescreen movie theater with herzzereißendem refrain' this is a low ', a song about' this Iceland in the nothern sea We love so much 'and the weather ... just to name a few.
Shoot me every time back to a time when it was really exciting to discover a new band because, no Social Network 24/7 and no mp3 for Umme everywhere ...
