Now it is so that I like mitfilme with my activities, or at least sufficiently photos make me in the times of the expected dementia in old age even to one or the other to remember. These preventive measures need electricity. Can more than my Samsung S5 provide. Well I bought the S5 because it is waterproof and therefore ideal for the beach, snow and swimming pool.
The PowerUp of Simian my current problem is finally solved, because so far I had no Powerbank the tough, and especially humid requirements of a day's skiing or a day was able to defy the pool. Of course, this power bank win any beauty contests, but it serves the purpose for me perfectly.
The packaging is almost exemplary small and contains the Power Bank even a 30 cm long USB cable-USB2Micro.
+ 10,400 mAh enough for my S5 fully recharge almost four times. So a five-day hike without electricity nothing stands in the way. The Samsung S5 has been fully charged at 2.1A port in 2 hours and 3 minutes of 19% battery level from.
+ The case is likely to be very robust. A fall of three meters height on stony ground has survived the Simian PowerUp.
+ IP54 certified enclosure, which is the dust and splash-proof. For testing purposes, I sank the part in the pool. After five minutes at 1.5 meters of water, no water penetrated. At least the USB ports were dry and there was a leak out anything. I have not screwed the case to investigate.
+ There is a four-digit charge status display by four blue LEDs on the top. While the Power Bank invites flashes of jeweile Stand 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% until the next area reached.
+/- Is charged during the PowerUp, the two USB ports of the Power Bank are inactive. It is therefore possible that Powerbank any device loaded while hanging on the net. Basically not really important, but it could be that you want to load the adapter with a PowerUp while a mobile phone and a Bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, that's not so easy to pin after another.
+/- The price is quite high for a Power Bank with "only" 10,000 mAh. The would there be even at half the price, but not with the enormous rugged qualities of Simian PowerUp. The protective jacket is definitely worth an extra cost.
One thing is clear: This sturdy Powerbank is from now on a long lasting partner for ski tours and walks, because once something happens and the cell phone is needed, then I do not want an empty battery to a rescue in the way stands.
Was this review helpful, then I would be happy with a click on YES. In the absence of information, simply leave a comment. I read all the comments. I was provided a free product samples available for testing by the manufacturer, otherwise I would have the part sunk not in the pool or tumble while hiking on the stone wall .. Still I write my honest opinion, I finally wants no friendship with the manufacturer Close :-)
