There to the device Cyberlink`s PowerDVD 9. Whether the software is good, I can not say because I do not care the features. I just want to only play Blu-rays and this makes the software good. Pleasantly surprised I was when I inserted a BR after 2 weeks that I had not watched over. Here I was asked if I want to watch from the beginning or resume the movie. That I did not have coils, I thought was great.
The Player makes a solid impression. He looks good. It is connected via a USB port and is running Windows 7 after a few seconds to use. The only thing that bothered me in the beginning, is the volume. Wow I did when inserting the first BR made eyes how the thing has angeschmissen its turbine ... My first reaction was to put a pillow under the unit. And there is also today still. But if you look a movie or playing game, one quickly forgets the existing noise. You have to select the footprint wisely halt. The speed of reading of Blu-rays and DVDs I also fine. But you have been a little bit patient if you installed a game.
Who are considering whether it is worth investing in BR, I can say the following. I'll pull me straight on my Philips 40 inch with Ambilight Spectra 2 the documentary "Planet Earth" pure and my mouth was open several times. Madness recordings, madness colors, madness resolution. I've been buying from BR no regrets. That's something other than Internet streams.
Point deduction, there are so because of the volume and the (too) high price.
