Convinced but I was also the quality of describing Double Layer DVD blanks (Verbatim).
I had not yet Brenner, who has fired in such high quality (4x).
The results with DVDInfoPro and Plex utilities (tested on a Plextor burner) are nearly flawless.
The service from Pioneer is very good. On the site is a "media Compatibility List" for CD, DVD and Blu-Ray available (pdf download).
A look at this list and is already clear that the BDR-207DBK clearly comes with a blank or not. This eliminates a costly Try different blanks.

The eject button is actually somewhat "vague". But that impairs the function in any way.
Another positive aspect is the volume. When burning it is audible, but not loud.
When playing movies (DVD and Blu-Ray) it is extremely quiet - almost inaudible to me - quite in contrast to the noise of other equipment "great brand".
For me, the Pioneer BDR-207DBK one of the best burners is currently being commercially - ie strong buy recommendation.
