Come fresh from vacation, I have made it with Magix Video Maker to create a video.
Since I do not have Smart TV and any external hard drive with playback function has remained nothing for me either the finished video to burn to DVD or Blu-ray.
Due to the excellent image quality of Blu-ray I chose an external burner with USB 3.0 now.

Connected to the burner, install the driver or CD content, finished.
Under Win 8.1 it will be recognized immediately.
With Magix it works without problems.
Picture and sound quality are excellent. My Panasonic Blu-ray player will play the movie immediately.
Without any problem.
My blanks are of QUVIDO (BD-R recordable) 25GB, 130minutes, 4xSpeed
