I've been looking for a memory expansion for my Acer Aspire ES1-111M-C56A. The memory should be accommodated if possible without to stand out in the device, so they hooked up anywhere during transport. The initial purchase was a product of Nifty, housing a MicroSD card as an adapter. Unfortunately, I had chosen the wrong size, so that the adapter in the device disappeared deeper than it was dear to me. In addition, a 128GB microSD card would have been more expensive than this Transcend JetDrive Lite. Both the product of Nifty and the product of Transcend I had to edit it using sandpaper to fit the slot of my device.
The writing speed when transferring data from an external USB 3.0 hard drive on the 8.1 JetDrive was indicated by Windows at around 20MB / s. This is probably below the manufacturer's specifications, but well above common Class 10 cards.
Basically a good value for money and therefore also a very strong buy recommendation - not only for Macbooks.
