The camera is easy to use and the menus very intuitive, since there is nothing to complain about. The brief guide that came in printed form is not really really needed, at least not if you have a little experience with other digital cameras. Detailed instructions can be found on the enclosed CD.
The menu offers the usual defaults and even a few gimmicks.
Quite nice, I find that there is a separate trigger button for videos, so you have to if necessary not only the appropriate program to select, but can spontaneously clicking on the video button.
That all sounds really great, and it is also. Now we come to results. Unfortunately I'm not too convinced of the picture quality. Even in daylight (well, no sunshine, but really sufficient lighting conditions) tends to the camera noise and unfortunately are also a lot of pictures taken despite stabilizer not really sharp.
The trigger responds quite well. Not super fast, but within acceptable limits.
Although videos can be recorded in HD, but even here the picture quality is not overly convincing. Although they run smoothly, but not without noise.
Overall, I find 16 megapixels for such a small camera is actually too much. This whole Megapixelwahn gives the impression that it automatically mean better pictures The more megapixels there. This is not so, sometimes less easy but more.
If you want to do just a few snapshots opportunity, the quality ranges from certainly, but who wants more, who will need to invest a few euros more. For the price, the quality is probably okay, you can finally no five stars expect when you pay for only three, which should be clear beforehand.
So overall a very nice compact camera for snapshots, but not a small miracle, but since they do not promise that there are still four points.
