This device plugs into the power (no batteries). The start-up is signaled by a blue LED. The cycle of cleaning is about 3 minutes.
The tank is large enough to hold one or two CD / DVD. Question depth the big glasses can apply to write twice. The tank is 5 cm deep, but the max level is up to 4cm. It measures 15X13cm. The basket that allows objects to dive in the bath and easy retrieval: P 3cm (which explains my thinking for large glasses) L: 13.5 and width: 11.5cm. Do not put objects directly on the bottom without the basket (or one of the accessories supplied 2) because of vibrations.J'ai saw an improvement of cleaning if the objects are suspended and not placed in the bottom basket; So for my rings I use the small cone provided to clean CDs. I rings with stones and were effectively cleaned in two passes. Glasses and CD no tested problème.J'ai (prudently) on my old pair reflective: it's perfect!
Do not cram the small things to clean, but prefer slightly spaced several passes depositing them; the result will be more effective.
When / cleaning (s) are completed, remove the objects without letting them stagnate in the device and wipe with a soft cloth. Empty the appliance and wipe as before storing.
This is a good little device for fast and easy maintenance. We must not ask the impossible for the price. This device is especially made to remove fat particles, dirt, dirt, but it is not a deoxidation device ... There is nothing magic wand. Important oxidations money does not disappear (even after ten passages), they are attenuated no more. On the highly oxidized silver, I recommend doing a good cleaning by hand and then regular maintenance is nickel, fast, efficient!
The cleaning efficiency is enhanced if you put the slightly warm water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid in the tank. I have not tested special products for cleaning. mintéresse that if someone in an experiment on these products.
