Excellent actors who convince. A play of light and shade in the images. Partly gloomy, then come again "Licht ins Dunkel". This film has nothing of horror per se (I do not know how this description has been concluded). The film has mystical side, but also has not unreal. He likes a whole seem more quiet, for he stirs up inside. The story begins very sad and the "horror" like in the childhood of Jane Eyre stuck (I fear there is in the world still similar cruel), but it certainly corresponds to some reality this time. The story, the characters and images captivate from the first until the last moment. The music is beautiful, but is always more in the background. Who approached more from the Hollywood movie like "Pride & Prejudice" feels - a film I have also liked to have seen and like it, but do not regard it as the icing - and more on pomp and "much" music is, will this film perhaps bored. If you like quiet sounds, will be delighted with this film!
